Mythbusting High Ticket Offers

When it comes to creating and selling a high-ticket offer (and when I say, ‘high ticket’, I generally mean a program, product, or service for which you charge in excess of £2,500 / $2,500) the number one thing that holds people back is their mindset. We struggle to distinguish the truth from the myths because our money mindset distorts our view. Let’s shine some light on it…

Myth

My audience can’t afford a high-ticket offer.

Truth

I’m not sure how many people on my email list have access to finance for my high-ticket offer, but I do know that if I do a great job of demonstrating the value of my offer to them in terms of solving their problem then I know they will do everything they can to invest with me. I also know that there are plenty of clients who can afford my service, looking for help right now.

Myth

If I increase my prices, I will turn people off. They will resent me, and they won’t buy.

Truth

If I increase my rates and demonstrate the value of my offer my ideal clients will buy from me. They will see that the value I deliver is more than worth the price I charge for my service.

Myth

It’s easier to sell a £500 offer than a £5,000 offer.

Truth

Clients don’t pay for what I do, they pay for the solution to their problem. They will choose the £5,000 option over the £500 option if they believe that’s the one which will solve their problem. In fact, if I undercharge then my prospective clients may perceive my service to be of low value and that will actually make a sale / enrolment LESS likely.

Myth

I’m just starting out on my business journey so I can’t put out a high ticket offer yet.

Truth

People don’t care about my qualifications or how long I’ve been in business… they care about what I can do for them.

Myth

I don’t know if I’m good enough.

Truth

I am enough when I declare myself to be enough.

Myth

High ticket clients are problematic and demanding.

Truth

People who invest more are more inspired to take action. High ticket clients SHOW UP. They are amazing. They’re focused. They do what they say that they’re going to do. I’d rather work with 1 client like that than 10 clients who are not showing up for me or for themselves.

So, in light of this myth-busting, I want you to think long and hard about how you want to structure your business. Make sure you’re prepared to invest in yourself and your business at the level that you are wanting others to invest in you. Are you the kind of client that you want to attract or are you still signing up for all kinds of freebies that you don’t even open?

Trust me, launching a high-ticket program, product or service will move the needle in your business like nothing else.
