And that is the coaching. sorry, you know, I nearly fluffed it. The coaching business academy. If I knew how to use the tech a little better, I would be able to do a sound effect right now. But I don't, so I'm not. The coaching business academy is, like I say, it's a project I've been working on in the background.
and it's for all the wonderful coaches in my world, in my network. This is for you. Let's dive into the episode because I can't wait to tell you all about it.

So why have I created a business academy? And what is it? And who's it for? And all of those questions? Well, I'm going to answer them. First of all, this actually has been like I say, it's been bubbling away behind the scenes. And the first cohort of the academy, which begins on the 26th of November is full.
which is incredibly validating for what I teach because I teach a lot around building your email list. And I sent two emails to my email list and filled that first cohort within the first couple of weeks. So, you know, if we need a little bit of social proof that this is, this is the right thing to focus on in your business.
You know, a really engaged email list is a very powerful thing when it comes to launching an offer, especially if it's an offer that is the exact thing that you know your ideal clients want and need, of course, that helps. But now is the time now we're into November. It's the time for me to widen this and invite you my wonderful podcast listeners.
to join the party. And for those of you for whom this is a good fit, you're not going to find anything else like this out there. And the reason I say that, of course, is that it's created by me. No one else is me. No one else is going to give you that flavor, the Jill flavor that comes to this coaching business academy. But also in terms of

The people just generally in my world know how much I love what I do. I will tell anyone who's prepared to listen that coaching is the best career on the planet. And it's an industry that I absolutely love. But here's the thing. I also know that there are a lot of people out there creating a
hell of a lot of noise around how to grow a flourishing coaching practice, how to grow a flourishing coaching practice. And I think there are a lot of really excellent coaches out there who because they don't see themselves as accomplished marketers, don't want to necessarily see themselves as accomplished marketers, really feel disillusioned and are struggling to sign up.
the number of clients that they want to sign up. They're struggling to differentiate themselves in the in the coaching arena. They're struggling to create a signature coaching framework that's really uniquely them and allows them to stand out. So there are a lot of things that I see that make it quite difficult for coaches to grow highly profitable coaching practices.
mainly because it's so confusing out there, the noise around it is so confusing. And that's really the primary reason I've created the Coaching Business Academy. It's not that I'm saying that I know everything there is to know about marketing, or everything there is to know about selling, right. But what I can tell you is that I've walked the walk
I have grown the business in a way that has felt good to me. People who know me know I'm not, you know, I definitely haven't sold my soul to Mark Zuckerberg. That isn't my bag. know, Facebook isn't my thing. I like LinkedIn. I dabble on Instagram, but not really. And I'm absolute proof that you can build a very highly profitable, absolutely

I made a decision when I put together the Academy that it isn't for everyone. There's a few criteria that I want the coaches that come into the Academy to meet for them to be eligible if you like to be inside the Academy. And one of them is probably a bit controversial because I know there are a lot of people who will say it's brilliant that the coaching industry isn't regulated because
You know, it means that there's no barrier to entry and everyone can be a coach and isn't that wonderful and we don't need a qualification to say that we're a good coach. Now, don't get me wrong, I agree with that. There are some great coaches who don't hold a certification. However, I also think there are an awful lot of coaches who have been wooed by the fact that it's a very low or almost no barrier to entry.
And some of those coaches really are not good enough. That's the truth. There are some coaches who are just not good enough. They don't get the transformational results that their clients deserve.
And I think for me, unless you are a great coach, I can't help you grow a great business. Being a great coach is the non-negotiable. So I've established a few criteria that you need to meet to be able to say that the Academy, the Coaching Business Academy is right for you. The first one is that you must have invested or you need to be committed to investing in.

a comprehensive, good quality coach training program. So this Academy, it's not for people who haven't undergone quality coach training. And that's, that's really a non negotiable for me. Or certainly they need to be committed to doing it. So some, some people, I'm absolutely fine if there's a commitment there to investing and you're doing, you're doing both in parallel, you're learning to be a great coach and learning how to
build a great business at the same time in parallel, absolutely fine. But if you have no intention of investing in your coach training, this probably wouldn't be the right business training program for you.
Another criteria is that I want you to be taking your coaching business seriously. You know, I help people grow profitable, sustainable coaching businesses, not hobby businesses. You know, this isn't, it doesn't mean that it necessarily has to be your full time gig straight away. But it has to be something that's more than a hobby, it needs to be something that you're taking seriously that you want to earn good money from. Right?
It's for people who are willing to push themselves. And sometimes you might even be pushed outside your comfort zone a little bit. And I'm pretty much unapologetic about that because you know what, building a business can be hard. And if you really want to create wealth and create a really fulfilling coaching business, that's going to be required of you. I think
One thing that again is another non negotiable is that this Academy this coaching business Academy is for coaches who are absolutely obsessed with the results they get with their clients. These are for people who want a client first kind of business.

So if you're listening to that and you're a coach and you're thinking to yourself, my goodness, I literally can tick all of those boxes, that is me. Then I absolutely want you to ignore all of the noise and all of the people who are saying that you can't build a great six figure business as a coach, because you absolutely can. I'm proof of it, you absolutely can.
So that's the first thing I just wanted to get really clear about what it is, who it is for and who it isn't for.
In terms of what the Academy is, well, it's an online program. It's a business coaching program. It is a community for coaches who are struggling to consistently sign up their perfect clients. And one of the things I teach inside the Academy is how to do that, how to consistently sign up.
perfect clients. And I really walk the walk, one of things I teach is to absolutely find out what it is your ideal clients want and need. And I know that you, my ideal coaching clients, my ideal business owners, coaching business owners, I know this is what you want and need. It's two things that I've heard back as I've been doing my research to make sure that the academy really addresses
what coaches want and need. The two things that have come up time and time again is they want clarity around how to stand out. And they want to know how to get clients simple as that.

And in the 12 weeks that you would be working with me inside the Academy, you're going to be learning how to really unearth your unique strengths as a coach and how to leverage those so that you can stand out. Because the coaching arena is bloody crowded, right? You're going to have to stand out, but it's not as difficult as you think it is. Okay. And it's not about who shouts loudest.
which is good news for all my introverts out there. You're gonna also learn how to attract your perfect clients. And when I say your perfect clients, I'm talking about the clients that you love to work with, the clients for whom you get the most transformational results, and the clients who could afford to hire you, right? That trilogy is really important.
you're also gonna learn how to create a signature coaching framework. And it's gonna be a framework that absolutely meets your ideal clients where they are and gives them, delivers to them what they want and need. The same way I've developed the academy to meet what you want and need. So there's a lot of meta-ness around how I'm building the academy and how...
I'm going to be teaching you inside the Academy how to build your own coaching business. You're going to create a sustainable marketing plan that actually works, that you can actually do and follow and keep up. Because I say to all my clients, marketing always works. It's, it's the people that don't work. You know, it's the people who are responsible for executing the marketing plan that don't work. The marketing will work.
If you create a really solid plan that's sustainable that you can execute consistently over the long term. That's what I'm teaching inside the academy. And I'm going to teach you the art of enrollment, how to consistently sign up those clients that you absolutely adore working with. Right. It's a really simple, but it's a powerful roadmap.

You'll be inside the Academy for 12 weeks. Over that time, we'll cover six modules. We'll coach together as a group, maximum of 12 people. We'll coach together every week where you'll get this chance to get the coaching you need. You'll also get the chance to ask all of the questions around where you're tripping up in terms of working through the digital course component of this.
So it's a real kind of double whammy here. You've got a digital course component along with all of the workbooks and resources that you need alongside that, where you go at your own pace, but also every week we're checking in so people are not getting left behind. Because one of the things I've noticed is that when we try and do this work on our own, we struggle to make decisions.
So this might resonate with you. If you are someone who makes a decision around, for example, their coaching niche, and you take a little bit of action, but then you go back, you revisit that decision and you change your mind and you pivot. And so begins this cycle. We do the same with our marketing strategies, we do the same with understanding our ideal clients, we don't make decisions.
We just ruminate over and over because we haven't got a guide who's making sure we're not getting left behind, who's making sure that we're moving from one milestone to the next milestone to actually get the foundational work done. And that's what I'm going to be doing with you inside of the Academy.
